Technical Writer (New Ramp-up in Bucharest)

DESCRIPTION

As a Technical Writer, you will be responsible for producing high-quality documentation that
contributes to the overall success of our client s product suite. You will join a team of talented
software professionals who work collaboratively with developers, quality engineers, product managers,
and usability experts to make our products easier to use. You will craft product documentation such as
user guides and FAQ’s as well as develop training curricula. You are a wordsmith and excited about
ensuring quality throughout the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Liaise with Product Managers and end users to identify and define processes, procedures,
requirements, and specifications to establish documentation needs for our client s software,
related systems, and processes
• Become an expert in our client, ready to discuss and demonstrate technical details with developers,
product managers, support engineers, and customers on a daily basis
• Produce high-quality documentation that meets our standards and is appropriate for our
intended audience internally and externally
• Plan, write and maintain easy-to-understand guides for REST APIs, UI documentation for clientfacing
web application, UI documentation for system administration and configuration, workflow
best practices and configuration for internal and external users.
• Create training curricula for the organization
• Create tutorials to help end-users use a variety of applications
• Analyze existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and single-sourcing opportunities
• Maintain a comprehensive library of technical terminology and documentation

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent preferred
• Proven working experience in technical writing of software documentation
• Ability to deliver high quality documentation paying attention to detail
• Technical documentation with Salesforce.com, force.com, APEX, management package installation,
integration and configuration concepts is preferred
• Understanding of XML, JSON, SOAP, or other web services technologies
• Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and
pictures
• Excellent written skills in English
• Advanced user of MS Office Suite, mobile devices and browsers.
• Basic familiarity with the SDLC and software development
• Highly organized and driven by success, achievement and recognition.

• High energy level and a “can do” attitude.
