Senior Software Engineer (Back-end)
|Our client is a dynamic young Swiss company is located in Zurich, focused on the development of an innovative web product and a market leader as one of the most well-known suppliers of personnel planning software.
You are going to take a key role in the development of their new products. Starting with the fundamental architecture up to the implementation of single features in the back- and front-end, you will take over responsibility and develop innovative, scalable and sustainable solutions together with their developers in Romania and abroad. Subsequently you are going to participate in the development, maintenance and extension of their existing products.
This role focuses on back-end development in PHP with basic associated tasks in the front-end.
You provide more than 4 years of relevant experience in software engineering.
You are able to communicate fluently in English.
You solve problems independently, to work carefully, organized and precisely.
Your personality is pragmatic, balanced and capable of criticism.
You consider state-of-the-art as required minimum quality.
Using a coding standard and writing clean code are natural for you.

Top skills in PHP and any related frameworks.
Experience with relational databases, preferably MySQL.
Strong experience in professional software development (architecture patterns,
design patterns, idoms).
Experience in at least one current PHP framework, preferably Laravel , Symfony, Zend, CodeIgniter
Experiences with PHP frameworks (Angular, ReactJS) are an advantage.
You know what Unit Testing, TDD and BDD are about.
Basic skills in Unix based environments including terminal.
Preferably experience with large and scalable enterprise applications.
