Software Engineer in Test (UI testing)

The challenge
As a Software Engineer in Test, you will be responsible for developing test applications for core code libraries, automation scripting as well as end-user manual testing.

What you’ll do as a Software Engineer in Test:
- Work closely with development counterpart, can read and understand production code.
- Can use, understand, and write new automated tests for owned areas.
- Achieve product area expertise: able to answer questions, review features.
- Write documentation for related areas which independently follows up on issues and communicates status to management in a timely manner.
- Convey information clearly and effectively within bug reports and documentation.

What you need to succeed:

• Minimum 2 years industry experience (5 years for seniors).
• Java knowledge is a must.
• Good knowledge of software testing fundamentals.
• Good understanding of common testing methodologies and ability to apply them.
• Ability to understand and interpret product specifications.
• Good problem solving and diagnostic skills, experience with troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of at least one scripting language such as Python, Perl, Ruby, JavaScript
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
